Students at Meraki earn credits for high school graduation and college eligibility through a combination of school projects, personal projects, online courses, and dual enrollment college courses.  Meraki/SJUSD graduation requirements are outlined below, with * indicating college prep coursework for initial "a-g" college eligibility.

World Language - The district’s world language requirement shows as 20 credits on the transcript, but it is actually a competency.  The 20 credits represents two full years of high school language, but that same level has been determined to be achieved by one semester of college.  Students earn 13.3 HS credits for the 4 college unit course.  The remaining 6.7 credits of language would get waived and converted to show as needed elective credits.
